Thank you to a fellow Etsy, I have gained knowledge about this piece. This is "Snow White" produced in Germany by Friedel in the mid 1930s, for the "Fairy TaIes" series. She represents Snow White with 2 of the Dwarfs. The figure is made of Friedel's papier mache mass, carefully plastered, sanded, then hand painted. Later in occupied post-war Germany, they were made in porcelain. Original molds of Snow White were made in the 1920's.
- Bottom of figurine stamped "Friedel Germany US-Zone"
- Measures approximately 4.5" tall
- Item does need cleaned more, I have lightly dusted it. Due to being paper maiche, it is best to keep her out of high humidity.
